My works are created using off-cut textiles I’ve sourced over many years.

I love to use fabrics that would normaly be destined for waste. I give them a new lease on life

and turn them into a thing of beauty. Denim and vintage clothing plays a large roll in my work as a nod to my history as a designer in the fashion industry.

I spend days soaking, dying and washing the textiles before I then stitch select

pieces together to form a canvas for my paintings. From here I spend slow countless hours

layering paints, pigments and natural dyes until they form the final composition.

I’m always inspired by nature but I never reference an exact place

....instead I create places I would like to escape to.
